CONSTRUCTION FAQ

We understand that construction can be disruptive, and we are committed to minimizing the impact on our neighbors while delivering a high-quality multifamily development. Below are answers to some common questions regarding the construction process.

Construction will generally take place Monday through Friday from 7AM to 4PM, adhering to the current noise ordinance regulations. If weekend work is necessary, we will notify the community in advance and follow all local regulations and noise ordinances.

While construction does generate noise, we will take measures to reduce disturbances, including:

  • Restricting high-impact activities (such as pile driving or demolition) to designated hours and/or areas.
  • Ensuring contractors follow local noise ordinances.
  • Notifying neighbors via website postings in the events of anticipated noise.

We recognize that maintaining smooth traffic flow is essential. To minimize disruptions:

  • Construction vehicles will only use designated routes and avoid residential streets when possible. See diagram below.
  • Any necessary temporary road closures or detours will be communicated in advance via live website postings.
  • Please see the Bus Stop and Routes – Hiawatha Lane file to review approximate school bus pick up and approximate times.

To reduce parking congestion:

  • Workers will park in designated on-site areas.
  • Construction vehicles will follow strict on-site staging procedures to avoid blocking local streets and access.

Yes, emergency access will always be maintained. We are working closely with local authorities to ensure first responders can access all areas without delay.

To limit dust and airborne particles:

  • We will regularly water down the site, especially during excavation.
  • Dust control screens and fencing will be installed around the perimeter.
  • Truck routes will be cleaned and swept frequently to minimize debris on public roads.
  • Our team will follow all required processes and procedures per the site plan and zoning approval.

We encourage open communication with the community. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to deliver quality housing to the Westport community.
